Happiness is all in your mind: Gen Kelsang Nyema at TEDxGreenville 2014

The senses are in a high and can be extra-sensitive. Enlightened people would see auras around living things and some glittery particles. The colours would appear more vivid and even see shapes and brilliant colors with eyes closed.

Hearing is also sharper than before. But some would testify that they would experience a decrease in hearing since they would hear different kind of sounds and have difficulty identifying the different sounds.

Smell, taste and touch are also enhanced.

Which is why, some would be sensitive with food and smell. Rashes can happen on the skin that can happen in the same time with healing moments or completion of some memories or anything that could have happened in the past.

Self-Employment: Smart Option or Income Trap?

Why do hundreds of people chuck in their job every day to journey down the road to become self-employed?

In the vast majority of cases, it's to escape the income trap a normal worker-boss relationship perpetuates - i.e. if you stay a "worker" then you stay in this one-to-one relationship that exists between worker and boss, where you exchange your skills and effort in return for a fixed wage every week.

The only way you can get money is to come back and do the same things all over again next week... or maybe do a little more work to get a little more pay.

This linear relationship - you work, and then get paid - fixes your income. It commits you to a life of "more of the same" week in and week out, and never really provides the extra needed to escape this cycle.

Now since the "boss" appears to be the winner here, the theory is that becoming your own boss is the first step on the road to wealth.

But is it really?

When you think of someone who is self-employed, whom do you think of?

Do you think of trades people like a plumber or mechanic? Perhaps you think of a shopkeeper or take-away shop owner?

Have these self-employed people escaped the linear income trap and put themselves on the road to wealth?

No! They are still earning a linear income, because they only make money once from each person they sell or provide a service to.

While they can maybe earn more than they could as a worker, it does come with the added costs of working longer hours, extra responsibility, and financial liability. And their income potential is still limited because they can only work for a fixed number of hours.

When seeking out self-employment opportunities, avoid those that revolve around linear income where you repeatedly do the same tasks in order to earn an income.

Instead, locate those opportunities that allow you to build residual (or passive) income.

While these do take some effort to set up initially, only a little maintenance is needed once underway to keep the income flowing in.

And what are you doing while it's earning money?

If you are smart, you are looking to find and build another opportunity to generate recurring, long-term income for you, while you sleep, when you are on holiday, or even after you've retired!

Whatever you do as a self employed person; you will have to work hard at it to make it work.

But think smarter as well...

Chase passive, residual income, and wealth is a lot easier to build.

5 Tips to Staying Focused when Starting Your Home-Based Business

Have you decided to start a home-based business? You may be juggling a full time job, a part time job and family life. You know that there are many things you need to do in order to successfully start your business and work from home. How are you going to fit your business project into your daily commitments? It's easy to become overwhelmed and lose focus. Losing focus will cause you to take no action. Action is essential to moving on from where you are now, to where you want to be.

Here are 5 tips to stay focused on starting your home based business:

1. Chunk down

If you have a large task to tackle, it is always easier when you break it down into smaller components. You'll find it easier to focus because you won't feel as overwhelmed. For example, 'Register a business name' can be broken down into: 'Think of five business name ideas', 'Find out how to register business name', 'Get registration form' and so on.

2. Keep a 'to do' list

Once you've broken down major tasks into smaller ones, make and keep a 'to do' list. Always keep a notepad and pen with you so that you can jot down any new ideas as they arise.

3. Schedule your time

Every evening, decide on three to five tasks on your 'to do' list that you wish to accomplish the following day. Stay focused on these tasks and only move on to the next tasks on your list once these have been completed.

4. Set goals

There is nothing better for staying focused than setting goals. Visualize exactly where you want to be in a month, six months and a year. In a month's time, do you want to have registered a business name and got all your equipment set up? In six months time, how many clients do you want? How much revenue do you want to generate in a year's time?

5. Say no

Be assertive and carve out more time for your business project. Saying ‘no' to that extra demand by your boss every once in a while, can get you home one hour earlier a couple of days a week. How about cutting back on the amount of housework that you do? Imagine how you could channel that extra time into your business.

If you put these five tips into practice, you'll definitely find it easier to focus on and achieve your ultimate goal of working from home.

Why Residual Income Is So Important Today

Why Passive Income Is So Important Today

 The simple definition of a
passive income is an income where you get paid over and over for doing your work one time. In the past it has been an income strategy only a handful of professions provided.

Today the Internet is making it possible for anyone to create residual income if they go about it right. Based on today's economy, and the uncertainty of the future, everyone would be smart to develop at least one residual income stream.

Did you know that if you had a monthly income of $5K coming in every month, that did not require you to work to get it, that would be equal to having $1 Million Dollars in the bank drawing 6% interest?

Most of us will never save $1 million dollars, but we can all create a
passive income of $5 thousand dollars a month with a little hard work and the help of the Internet!

So how can you create a
passive income using the Internet?

1. Network marketing is a business model where you get paid on the efforts of others as well as the efforts of yourself. This is achieved through leveraging your time and duplicating your efforts.

Building a downline of distributors is how this is done. You may only have 20 hours a week to invest into your network marketing business, but if you had a downline of 10 people who also had 20 hours a week your business now has over 200 hours a week being invested into it.

This is a very powerful concept and the larger your downline becomes the more money you can make. Building a large network marketing business can be done all over the world and the Internet can help you do it with your own Website and follow-up system online.

2. Affiliate marketing is another business model where you can develop a
passive income. Specifically 2-tier affiliate marketing allows you to recruit a front line of sales people who earn you commissions whenever they make sales.

This works well for people who like to network with other Internet workers. Social networking is great for this as it allows you to meet people who have similar interests of your own and you can turn that into a large sales force and potential residual income.

This is two examples of how you could create a
passive income for yourself on the Internet today. Network marketing and 2-tier affiliate marketing programs are easily within the reach of anyone willing to work!
